Bible Widgets
“Beautiful, highly customizable Scripture widgets for your lock screen; polished, if you don't mind the paywall.”
Bible Widgets does one thing very well: it surfaces Scripture and encouragement right on your iPhone home and lock screens. You choose from categories that span verses, prayers, quotes, and affirmations, then dress them up with animated, light, dark, or seasonal themes and your own background photos. With a 4.9-star average across some 93,000 ratings, it is one of the most-loved apps in this niche.
Customization is the draw. Widgets refresh on a schedule you control, you can save favorites into collections, share any verse as a clean image in a tap, and everything you have saved works offline. The design is genuinely attractive, and setup is friendly enough that non-technical users get a beautiful lock screen in a couple of minutes.
Two honest caveats. First, the content mixes Scripture with general affirmations and quotes, so if you want a strictly Bible-only feed it can feel diluted. Second, premium is not cheap: unlocking all themes, custom creation, ad removal, and unlimited reminders runs about $14.99 monthly or roughly $29.99 to $59.99 per year. The free tier is usable, but the best-looking options sit behind the paywall.
