Alabaster Co
“Gallery-grade design and calming devotionals; verse art as an unhurried reading moment, not a widget tool.”
Alabaster Co is the app arm of the beloved faith-and-design brand known for its museum-quality printed Bibles. If you have ever seen their work, you know the look: soft photography, generous white space, and typography treated like art. The app carries that aesthetic into daily devotionals, a browsable catalog of their books and Bibles, wishlists, rewards, and order tracking, all wrapped in one of the most beautiful interfaces in Christian publishing.
As a place to sit with Scripture and reflection, it is a joy. The daily devotionals are thoughtfully written and gorgeously presented, and readers consistently praise how calming and uncluttered the whole experience feels. If your idea of verse art is an unhurried, visually rich reading moment rather than a flashy graphic, Alabaster is close to unmatched.
Be clear about what it is, though. This is primarily a devotional-and-store companion to the physical products, not a widget maker or a verse-image generator, so customization and lock-screen features are minimal. The app is free, with the deeper library and premium material tied to Alabaster's paid offerings and physical purchases. For design lovers it is a delight; for tinkerers who want to build their own verse graphics, it will feel limited.
