Most of what is listed here is not an app. It is a curriculum publisher: books, teacher guides, lesson plans, and in some cases a full online course you buy for the year. We list them because parents ask the same question they ask about software. Does it fit my kid, and is it worth the money?

Curriculum splits along a few lines. Some programs are open and go, meaning you pick up the guide and teach with no prep. Others hand you a booklist and expect you to build the week yourself. Some teach every subject through a biblical lens, including science and history. Others are ordinary academics from a publisher that shares your faith. Neither is better. They answer different questions, and these reviews try to say which one a program is.

Price is the other split. A boxed all-in-one year can run several hundred dollars per child. A subject you assemble from a free online plan costs nothing but your time. We list the real price where the publisher shows it, and we say when a program is reusable for younger siblings, because that changes the math more than the sticker does.
