Redeem TV
“Hundreds of Christian documentaries and classic films, ad-free and totally free.”
Redeem TV is a quiet gem for a specific kind of viewer. Run by Christian History Institute and Vision Video, it offers hundreds of Christian documentaries, biographies, dramatizations, and classic films, including the beloved Torchlighters animated series, entirely free and without ads.
It stays free through donor support rather than subscriptions, which makes it especially appealing to homeschoolers, churches, and small groups looking for trustworthy, study-ready material. You will need to create a free account before streaming, and it works across phones, smart TVs, and the major streaming players.
The experience shows its ministry roots. The interface is dated and utilitarian, discovery can be clunky, and older titles look their age. But judged as a free, ad-free archive of Christian history and teaching, Redeem TV delivers real value that the flashier services simply don't offer.
