PraiseCharts
“The most accurate worship charts in the business, sold one song at a time.”
PraiseCharts has spent two decades building what is arguably the most trustworthy library of worship sheet music anywhere. When a chart says it matches the recording, it usually does, right down to the intro riff, the modulation, and the vocal harmony parts. That reliability is why so many music directors treat it as their default source, whether they need a simple chord chart for the band or a full orchestration for a choir and strings.
The pay-per-song model is the thing that sets it apart from the subscription crowd, and it cuts both ways. A basic chord chart runs a few dollars, a lead sheet a little more, and complete orchestrations climb into the fifties because you are buying every instrument part, individually engraved. For a church that plays a rotating handful of songs, buying exactly what you need is genuinely economical. For a team that burns through new material constantly, the PraiseCharts Pro subscription tiers cover roughly 200 downloads a year and make more sense.
Where PraiseCharts is weaker is the live, on-stage experience. It is fundamentally a sheet music store rather than a performance app, so most teams export PDFs or ChordPro files into OnSong or Planning Center to actually run a service. It also offers multitracks, but that is not its core strength the way charts are. Treat it as your arrangement library, pair it with a dedicated stage tool, and it is hard to beat.
Is it right for you?
Music directors and arrangers who want the most accurate, professionally engraved worship charts and orchestrations, and prefer paying only for the songs their team plays.
You need an all-you-can-eat subscription, want a built-in live performance app, or your church requires bundled licensing coverage rather than individual sheet music.

Common questions
Both options exist. You can purchase individual charts a la carte, or subscribe to PraiseCharts Pro tiers that bundle up to about 200 downloads per year at a lower per-song cost.
Yes. PraiseCharts is known for transcriptions that faithfully match the original tracks, including intros, key changes, and vocal harmony parts, which is its biggest advantage over generic chord sites.
Yes. Charts can be transposed to any key directly on the site before you download or print them.
It does. You can export PDFs and ChordPro files that import cleanly into Planning Center Services, OnSong, and similar stage tools.
No. Buying a chart licenses that arrangement, but reproducing lyrics for your congregation still requires a separate CCLI license through SongSelect.
