In Touch Ministries
“Nearly fifty years of Charles Stanley's teaching: daily devotions, sermons, and 24/7 radio, all free.”
In Touch Ministries puts nearly five decades of Dr. Charles Stanley's teaching in your pocket, entirely free. At its core is a daily devotion you can both read and listen to each morning, but the app is really a broadcasting hub: streaming TV and radio programs, and a 24/7 Charles Stanley Radio station serving up his messages around the clock. For listeners who grew up on his steady, expository preaching, it is a deep and generous archive with nothing behind a paywall.
The app is thoughtfully practical. Content comes in English and Spanish, you can create a profile to save favorite devotionals, sermons, and Bible readings, and the mix of text, audio, and video means you can read at your desk or listen on a commute. Because it is donor-funded, everything is free, a real strength in a category where the most polished apps increasingly charge a monthly fee. If you want sermon-driven devotion rather than bite-sized inspiration, this delivers.
The honest limitations are focus and finish. This is a single-teacher app built around Dr. Stanley's ministry, so the theological voice is consistent but singular; you won't find the variety of a multi-author devotional. The design feels more functional than modern, community features are essentially absent, and it leans toward listeners who already appreciate his style. But for accessing a trusted teacher's lifetime of work at no cost, few free apps offer this much.
