CBN News
“Network-grade video news with a prayer button, and a clear conservative point of view.”
CBN News brings the resources of a decades-old broadcast network to a modern, well-built free app. You get breaking world and U.S. news, original video reporting, and correspondents filing from Washington and the CBN Jerusalem bureau, all wrapped in a clean interface that surfaces both text and CBN's flagship shows like Faith Nation and Jerusalem Dateline.
Its standout touch is the way faith is stitched into the product: readers can tap to pray over a story, and the coverage is framed explicitly through a Christian lens. That framing is also its main limitation. The outlet carries a clear conservative political slant, so stories are often selected and told with a particular viewpoint, and readers who want neutral wire-style reporting should calibrate accordingly.
As a free, professionally produced news app with genuine video and international reach, CBN News is one of the strongest options in the category on production values alone. Just go in aware of its perspective and, ideally, read it alongside a source with a different editorial center of gravity.
